Six Sigma firm appoints marketing chief

News brought to you by IQPC.Six Sigma specialist SSA & Company has appointed Stephanie Sandberg as its new chief marketing and sales officer.
Ms Sandberg joins the firm having held positions including vice-president of Fortune and president of the New Republic.
According to Scott Miller, chief executive officer of SSA, the appointment should help ensure the company is able to promote its Six Sigma offerings.
He said: "Stephanie understands how better process inside companies can drive strategy.
"Her deep expertise in media, marketing, and business transformation will make her an integral part of all our business planning."
Ms Sandberg will also be tasked with pushing Six Sigma into new markets, he added.
Yesterday, Novaces revealed that it has secured a new contract to support the US Defense Logistics Agency's Lean Six Sigma programme.
The deal will see the firm help train Lean Six Sigma Black Belts, Green Belts and Champions on behalf of the agency.
